How we have your safety in mind
- We practice social distance on land and on water.
- We foam wash, scrub and sanitize every piece of equipment before and after we rent them to you.
- We provide sanitizer (Free of charge- Upon request).
- We provide you with a life jacket (required to wear) and a whistle.
- We let you keep the whistle free of charge.
- Our staff are certified instructors by the ACA (American Canoe Association).
- Our staff hold a Boating Safety Education ID Card from the Sunshine State of Florida.
- For new and experience paddlers, we provide three types of courses to meet every budget and need.
- We encourage you to turn on your GPS and link with us on Whatsapp before launching. With your permission for the duration you set we can locate you/your phone in case of emergency.
- We share safety tips, and an abundance of kayak safety content.
What to bring before getting in the kayak:
- A face mask or neck gaiters
- Dry Bag if bringing a cell phone.
- Sun Screen.
- Bug Spray
- A Hat.
- Something to drink. Keep hydrated.
- Slippers or Water Shoes.
- Dress accordingly, you might get splashed.
Once you find your adventure, please practice the following safety tips
- Practice social distance and sanitation at all times.
- Share your Float Plan of where you'll be going kayaking, whether Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, or Atlantic Beach, make sure someone know in case of emergencies.
- Check Tide and Weather Reports (Below).
- Always think safety while out on the water.
- Please always wear your life jacket, and a safety whistle (Please keep the whistle).
- Please pay attention to hazards, high boat traffic areas and once again, PLEASE ALWAYS WEAR YOUR LIFE JACKET :)
